Recently, I completed my maiden assignment on InstallShield. I was asked to use complicated stuff like Database Interaction, setup within a setup & file I/O in InstallShield. I had some painful days learning InstallShield and then implementing these requests. The worst part of all this was that there aren’t much resources available over the internet. Nor I knew of anyone who could lend an expert advice.
So just to save someone from undergoing the same/similar experience again, I have come up with a short white paper on the database interaction part using InstallShield 2010. Hope you appreciate this noble work.
